Corn Samosa

Crunchy and healthy evening snack for kids as the stuffing is made of corn and potato.

Main Ingredients

1 medium Boiled Potato

1 Cup Sweet Corn

1 Cup Chopped Onion

1 pieces Chopped Green Chilli

1 tsp Cumin Seeds

0..05 tsp Red Chilli Powde

0.25 tsp Garam Masala

0.25 tsp Cumin Powder

0..25 tsp Salt

0.75 Cup Oil

0.25 Cup Maida Paste

5 pieces Samosa Patti

Preparation Steps

Step 1 :

In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil, cumin seeds, chopped onion and chopped green chilli. Saute it well.

Step 2 :

Saute it till the onions turn translucent.

Step 3 :

In a vessel, boil a potato with water and a pinch of salt.

Step 4 :

Add mashed potato and boiled corn kernels. Add red chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder and salt.

Step 5 :

Add this mixture to the onion and saute it well. Switch off the flame and keep it aside.

Step 6 :

Take a samosa patti sheet, make a cone shape out of it.

Step 7 :

Fill the stuffing and stick all the corners using maida paste. To make the paste add a little water to the maida.

Step 8 :

Heat oil in a kadai and fry the samosas until golden brown.

Step 9 :

Serve hot with sauce.
